About Our Team
The backbone of our operation.
We feel that the most important asset of our business is our employees and their ability to satisfy our customers’ automotive service and repair needs. We work hard to provide an enjoyable working atmosphere and pay our Technicians fair wages. We want their number one focus to be on fixing our customers’ vehicles, taking the time that is needed to do the job right, the first time.
In addition, our knowledgeable and friendly service advisors are always ready and quick to help our customers. It is a team effort, and we appreciate the contribution made by each member of our staff.
Julie Holve
Owner, Vice-President
When Julie met Andy, she had no idea her future would not only lead to being a partner in marriage, but a partner in business as well.
Julie is wife and mother to TLC Auto Care in more ways than just being married to Andy. She also manages the office, taking care of the paper work, which keeps the behind the scenes things moving and having a lot of influence in how service is defined.
She brings a much needed feminine perspective to an otherwise predominant male industry.
Jon Holve
ASE Certified Master Technician, Shop Manager
WA State Authorized Emissions Specialist
As Andy’s son, Jon grew up in the auto repair business. Jon has a natural mechanical aptitude which helps him a lot in the work he is doing, understanding engines and computer systems so he can figure them out. Some of this may be because of his working with a master technician who mentored him when he was young and starting out.
Jon graduated in Automotive Technology at the top of his class from ITEC (Independent Technicians’ Education Coalition), a school put together by a group of repair shops to prepare students for working in independent shops.
Not only did Jon do very well as a student, but he also took the time to be helpful with other students. Today, Jon is the ‘go-to’ guy for not only our shop, but other shops as well – helping others solve difficult problems. Jon combines his excellent mechanical and technical abilities with a commitment to customers and serving them.
Jon is an ASE Certified Master Technician in L1 Advanced Engine Performance and A/C Refrigerant Recovery and Recycling. In addition, he is an Authorized Emissions Specialist and Retail Gasoline Master through the Washington State Department of Ecology.
Peter Antioco
ASE Certified Technician
Growing up on the East Coast, Peter loved ice hockey. He played it well enough in high school to turn semi-pro, playing for several years.
After hockey, Peter went to college, studying Construction Project Management. Working on his own used Mercedes and a part time job in a dealership convinced him he both enjoyed mechanics and had a mechanical aptitude (he really does).
So, after two years at Wyoming Technical College, Peter worked in an import and specialty shop in Colorado before moving here and coming to work for us.
In addition to a mechanical aptitude, Peter is very good with steering/suspension, brakes and general repair. He is also good at electrical and computer systems. He also cares a lot about people and their vehicles.
